Can you believe the 13th Annual OWL Awards are just a few months away! I hope you are planning on joining us on Thursday, October 21, 2010. This year’s slate of nominees for our Outstanding Women Leader Awards will inspire and impress you. We also have a very special keynote speaker lined up this year, and you won’t want to miss it!
A very important part of this event is the Silent Auction, where funds are raised by NAWBO to offer valuable opportunities to women business owners, such as you, by sponsoring their attendance at various leadership and business conferences, hosting educational programs and seminars and providing tools to help them grow their business.
Won’t you please take a moment and consider donating an item(s) for the auction. Some of the items donated in the past have been restaurant gift certificates, golf green fees, entertainment tickets, sports memorabilia, wine, jewelry, weekend getaways, spa packages and gift baskets. Don’t forget, it’s near the holidays so holiday gifts are also great ideas. Please be creative and if you would like assistance on any idea(s) you may have, feel free to contact me. Don’t forget to include your company information with the item description you’ve donated so your generosity can be acknowledged.
